Long before online stores, we were testing hides, cutting straps, tuning edge bevels, and learning what makes a belt or holster survive real work. Mistakes taught more than textbooks. Tools, not theories, shaped our standard.

When cheap bonded leather started pretending to be “premium,” we decided to do the opposite: build belts, holsters, and rigs the hard way — from full-grain hide, clean stitching, solid hardware, and honest thickness.

Because if a piece of leather won’t hold up in the field, it doesn’t deserve the Tomar name.

4. Functional shaping. We cut and form with the job in mind — not a catalog photo.
